Supervison

Avalon offers creative clinical supervision to both trainee and experienced therapists, and clinical practitioners and professionals such as social workers and teachers. She is a registered PTUK clinical supervisor.

Avalon uses creative methods alongside discussion and reflection to support therapists and practitioners gain more self-understanding, client understanding, and consistently learn from their experience of working with others.

Most clinical work requires supervision as part of their registration, but professionals working with children in schools as teachers or teaching assistants could also benefit hugely from supervision.

Children with extra needs, or emotionally intense behaviours can effect the professionals they work with in different ways. Having regular supervision with an experienced supervisor can help professionals to manage their experiences with children, and help in maintaining safe and supportive relationships, alongside finding new and creative ways of working with them.

Avalon also offers group supervision sessions within various settings such as child services, schools, health care professions. Group supervision can offer a safe, non-judgemental space for colleagues and peers to reflect on their work together, share ideas, and gain a deeper understanding on their work with others, and themselves.
